Marlene was a very special person. She was a wonderful neighbor for so many years. I have very fond memories of Marlene with her beautiful family and seeing the grandchildren grow up and all of them get together for the special occasions. She was so kind to everyone and she never had a bad hair day. Love and sympathy, Sandy

My sisters Teresa, Gloria and I were so sorry to heard the sad news about the passing of Marlene. Even though we didn't keep in contact, I can't tell you how many times she was on our minds. Also how often she and her entire family were brought into our conversations about our younger days in Downingtown. The last time we saw Marlene, was at her Moms funeral. She hadn't changed at all. She was so loved. George our love and prayers are with you and her entire family. Love, Teresa Ciarlone Francella, Gloria Ciarlone Biondi and Joanne Ciarlone Calvarese

Sleep Now Mom

Sleep Now Mom
Dear Mom
Although I cannot see you, I feel your presence near. I will hold you close in memory, Till I drop my very last tear.
So sleep now with the angels, And your golden heart let rest. Although our hearts are broken, We know GOD took the best.
So dance beyond those golden gates, And join your loving Mom. I'll see you when I'm sleeping, And pray for you to come.
And although this pain is painful, And I really don't wanna let you go. I'll wait for death to take me Mom So we can together one day glow.
Until that day I'll close my eyes, and see your smiling face. I'll lock you up inside me heart, Until we again embrace.
So rest now my beautiful Mom I'll never forget how much you have done. So until my hand meets yours again, Sleep now in the sun.
Love you forever
You’re Son Law

I was so sad to hear the news of aunt Marlene's passing. But then I only remembered the happy times with her and funny stories, like when Linda put an entire tube of VO 5 in her hair while we were on vacation and seeing Aunt Marlene's reaction, or when I spent the night with Natalie and Linda and we were so bad but Aunt Marlene was so nice about it. She was a beautiful person and I looked forward to seeing her at every event, where she was always asking how we were and was so caring about our family even though she frequently called my husband Steve "Mike". I will miss her very much. I love you Aunt Marlene!!

My Condolences To The Matthews Family

So sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin Marlene. I think back of all the fun times we had as children with our Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Such great memories. I remember being the ring bearer at Marlene's and George's wedding. I was so afraid that I was going to make a mistake and mess up the wedding. So many years ago. I wish that we had stayed in touch more as we got older. I will miss her wonderful zest for life.

I'll be seeing you
January 12, 2013
Mom I can never say goodbye to you,
Because I could never bear the pain.
Instead I say I love you Mom
Until we meet again
I'll be seeing you In all the old familiar places That this heart of mine embraces All day through.
In that small cafe; The park across the way; The children's carousel; The chestnut trees; The wishin' well.
I'll be seeing you In every lovely summer's day; In every thing that's light and gay. I'll always think of you that way.
I'll find you In the morning sun And when the night is new. I'll be looking at the moon, But I'll be seeing you.
I'll be seeing you In every lovely summer's day; In every thing that's light and gay. I'll always think of you that way.
I'll find you In the morning sun And when the night is new. I'll be looking at the moon, But I'll be seeing you.
